New in 2012! Penguin Plunge This permanent exhibit features over 30 penguins from four different species – Humboldt, Gentoo, Rockhopper and King. It’s an unforgettable polar experience with dancing Aurora Australis lights and chilly Antarctic air. Naturalistic ice and rock formations combine with a series of pools, letting the playful penguins surround you. Watch as they perch on rocky outcroppings, dive in and out of the water and swim beneath your feet.
