You and your teddy bear are invited to the Calgary Zoo on August 11th & 12th for the 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Picnic. So grab your picnic blanket, your teddy and come down to the Zoo!

Join the Calgary Zoo for Zoo Year’s Eve 2012!! Enjoy the amazing Zoolights, plus live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display.
Zoo Year’s Eve sold out in 2011, so make sure to check back here for more information on ticket sales come Fall 2012. You don’t want to miss this event….it just keeps getting better and better.
| | | | NEW events to come to the Calgary Zoo | First Annual Flicker Day
We are still in the process of confirming a date for this event but please stay tuned for updates as it is sure to be a photographer’s dream morning at the Zoo.
Photographers are invited to purchase a ticket for Flicker Day that will get them onto the Zoo grounds before we open to the public. This will allow photographers to photograph the gardens, grounds and animals (once they wake up) without the crowds and with the amazing morning light. The Zoo is perhaps one of the most peaceful and picturesque places in Calgary come sunrise, so you won’t want to miss out on this great opportunity. More details on the event will be posted shortly, so stay tuned as tickets will be limited and will go very fast.
